Effective September 18, 2026, those attending virtual hearings will no longer see (518) 549-0500 when expecting a call from the Judge. The Caller ID will show "Cisco Webex" or an out-of-state number.

Overview

If you frequently participate in virtual hearings on your phone or tablet, it's easy to add a shortcut icon for the Virtual Hearings website to your home screen. See the instructions below to add a shortcut based on the browser you use.

Safari users

  1. On your mobile device, open your web browser
  2. Go to vhc.wcb.ny.gov.
  3. On the bottom of your browser, select the share icon. Safari ios share icon
  4. Once selected, scroll down until you find the "Add to Home Screen" option.
  5. Confirm or edit the website details. Then select "Add."
  6. The shortcut icon that now appears on your home screen looks similar to other apps on your device. Just select the icon to open the Virtual Hearings site.

Google Chrome users

  1. On your mobile device, open your web browser
  2. Go to vhc.wcb.ny.gov.
  3. On the right side of the address bar, select the share icon. Google share icon
  4. Select the "Add to Home Screen" option from the list.
  5. Confirm or edit the website details. Then select "Add."
  6. The shortcut icon that now appears on your home screen looks similar to other apps on your device. Just select the icon to open the Virtual Hearings site.

Microsoft Edge users

  1. On your mobile device, open your web browser
  2. Go to vhc.wcb.ny.gov.
  3. Select the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the screen. Menu icon
  4. Select "Share."
  5. Select the "Add to Home Screen" option from the list.
  6. Confirm or edit the website details. Then select "Add."
  7. The shortcut icon that now appears on your home screen looks similar to other apps on your device. Just select the shortcut to open the Virtual Hearings site.

Firefox users
