In accordance with the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (Board) resolution adopted on February 20, 1990, the Board publishes the mileage rate for reimbursement to injured workers for travel by automobile on or after January 1st of each year.
The rate for personal vehicle mileage on or after January 1, 2025, is 70 cents per mile.
In those instances where injured workers are entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses, insurers will reimburse injured workers for travel in accordance with this rate.
