Please be advised that effective February 13, 2006, Dr. Leonard Drebsky's authorization (number C01996-0B) to treat workers' compensation claimants and to conduct independent medical examinations has been temporarily suspended pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law §13-d(4). Dr. Drebsky's office is located at 2807 Astoria Boulevard, Astoria, New York. The suspension is effective until December 2, 2006.

Dr. Drebsky is prohibited from rendering medical or other treatment and care to, or conducting independent medical examinations of, individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses while this suspension is in effect. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Drebsky for treatment or examination rendered prior to February 13, 2006, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment or examination rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Drebsky regarding treatment or examination he rendered prior to the suspension's effective date should not be denied due to this suspension, and the physician is entitled to appropriate payment. In addition, testimony and/or depositions concerning independent medical examinations conducted through February 12, 2006, may be provided.
